Welcome to the home of the Pratt family on the world wide web. My name is Kyle Pratt and I created this website and own the domain name Chehalis.Net.
Lewis County is my home, my family has lived in the county since 1975, but much of that time I have been away in the navy serving in both Europe and the Pacific, including Guam and Japan and on several ships in the Pacific fleet.
In 1977 while stationed in Scotland I took leave and visited Israel. While in Jerusalem I happened to meet a young lady named Susan Best from Plymouth England. We were married on February 14, 1978 in Plymouth. In November of 1999 I retired from the navy and returned to Lewis County with my family.
While I enjoy my privacy, as a teacher and Precinct Committee Officer for the Republican party I am somewhat of a public person in this community. This website is the public part of my life and the life of my family.
The menu on the left includes my Curriculum Vitae. The term Curriculum Vitae is Latin for "course of life," and in today's society is normally a presentation of credentials for a teaching or research position and is more detailed than a standard resume. You can also view a record of my military assignments and awards and research either I have done myself or collected on the Pratt name.
