Upon completion of a twenty-year navy career in the computer networking and information systems management field I embarked on a new career in education. After earning my teaching certification, I worked in temporary and substitute positions while pursuing a Master in Education degree at night. I am near completion of the Masters program and am currently seeking full-time employment at the high school or middle school level.

I am also interested in using the computer and HTML skills I learned in the military in the educational field. I would like to further explore the use of instructional technologies in the classroom but with the knowledge that technology is not the answer to educational problems, merely a tool.
